About

about_pg_pic.jpgDespite chronically timid genes and a low threshold for personal discomfort, Cecilia Greyson has spent a lifetime impulsively pursuing her love of travel, nature, and outrageous adventures.

Misguided moments in her travelling career include falling head over heels with a 30-lb pack on her back down a snow-covered mountain slope, hitchhiking 3000 miles in transport trucks across Canada, and being tear-gassed in the Middle East while drinking coffee. In past years she survived a four-day canoe trip down one of North America’s longest rivers, a serious bout of projectile vomiting in a crowded bus in Cairo, and nights spent sleeping in ditches, a snow cave, and a converted church.

Cecilia is a member of the International Ecotourism Society and the Adventure Travel Trade Association, has taught writing workshops to tourism professionals, and written articles about sustainability and travel for publication. She lives and works in Vancouver, Canada.
